Alameda is served by AC Transit buses that provide service across the island, and connections to Downtown Oakland, Rockridge, Fruitvale, and beyond. Routes include:

City of Alameda Loop Shuttle

The City of Alameda has launched the Alameda Loop Shuttle – formerly the Alameda Paratransit Shuttle –providing free rides throughout the city,  Shuttles  run on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m; three shuttle routes provide access to major shopping destinations and medical facilities including.  Alameda Loop Shuttle uses two new buses that are accessible and are equipped with bike racks and wheelchair lifts.

Alameda also has service by Ferry. 

 

 

Easy Pass

If you work at Alameda Point you are eligible for one free Easy Pass. It’s easy:

  1.  Request a link to the Easy Pass Form from you Transportation Coordinator
  2. Click on the link provided.
  3. Scroll down and find your company
  4. Fill out registration form/take photo
  5. Submit

If your employer is not already registered (not listed) please have a company representative contact: [email protected]

If you are a resident of the Alta Star Harbor, Alameda Marina, Marina Shores or Mulberry communities, you are eligible for one free Easy Pass per household.  Information and application forms are available on your HOA website under “Transportation”.

All applications will be reviewed for eligibility.  Only Alameda Point employees and residents of Mulberry and Marina Shores are eligible for this program at this time.
